One of Jamaica's greatest heroes of all time is Hon. Lousie Bennett. She was a comedian, author and talk show personality and so much more. Ms. Bennett is to be credited for giving patois, the everyday language of the Jamaican people, a rightful place in the Jamaica's conscientiousness. She encouraged Jamaicans everywhere to embrace the "bad language" that we all grew up hearing day and to recognize that it too has it's place in defining who we are as Jamaicans.
