I recieved this email today from someone trying to find some information about a train. Does anyone know anything about Governor's Coach, a train in Jamaica? Here is the email:
I have been searching (unsuccessfully) for info on a train ride my mom and I had in 1967 - Governor's Coach. It was a very old train and took us up to the mountains - What a great experience. However, since then we can find no info on its existence. Can you please advise me.
I believe the Appleton Estate had a tour called the Governor's Coach, where mainly tourists were able to tour the estate. Food was provided and the visitors got the chance to sample Jamaican foods and most importantly the different alcoholic beverages manufactured and sold by the Estate. I am almost 100% sure that this is what she is talking about.
