Jamaica, One LoveEveryone has a different reason for liking Jamaica. Please leave a note to let everyone know what you find so intriguing about this little island. I love it because it will always be my home. I love the food, just save me some Callallo and Saltfish. Photo credit: barryandannie

I was born and bred in the UK. I love JA bad, bad. It is a most beautiful place, in the truest sense of the word. Marvellous. Despite my access to every consumable known, sanitation, education, employment etc., I would give it all up and live in the land of wood and water today. Honest. I have been visiting since a child and was a little bit precious during my youth, but as I matured, grew to love the country. To those with nothing but negative tales, just stay away; don't visit. Big up Jamaica and Jamaicans. One love.

My husband and I left Jamaica to find a better life as they say. We've missed home everyday since then and count down the days whenever we go home for a visit. In the middle of winter, I would do anything to feel the sun on my face. Jamaica is a beautiful country and that will be my home forever

    Irie People.
What i love about Jamaica...everything. I love the crooked streets, the fast cars winding around avenues with no signs...the men flirting with 10 kids at home...the beautiful jamaican women going to work...the good curry tofu....the ting grapefruit drink....the coral cliff casino on the hip strip on a a Friday night....just vibing with friends on top a tree house in Negril watching the rain fall. That is the way i feel about my Jamaica.
The best part is falling in love with a Jamaican man. If you love the country and its people, and find you a good man...its all good people. Jamaica, i consider my home, my soul, my life source. People at work cannot understand my vibe, but when the music and its food and its culture gets a hold of your spirit...you are Jamaica and you are a part of change...for good....bad...whatever you make of your Jamaica, it is home.
