Jamaican Snack

This is probably as close as we get to fast-food in Jamaica, a beef patty and and a soda. Growing up in Jamaica we referred to soda pops as an aerated water. Don't ask me what that mean, it's just what we called it. Encased in a thin crust of pastry is a hot and spicy seasoned cooked minced beef. But be careful, a freshly baked patty can cause serious damage to the roof of one's mouth. And if that's not enough, the hot spice that makes a beef patty so delicious can bring the new patty eater to tears. Next time you're hungry, do your snacking the Jamaican fast food way.
