One of the questions I am asked most frequently is: What does 'Irie' mean? It is a word that is uniquely Jamaican. It means alright, cool or fine. According to some accounts, the genesis of this word has to do with the feeling one gets while high. Whatever the orgin of the word, 'Irie' is a word you will want to use over and over again, when you want your everyone to know that you're doing great.
