Since Jamaica has popped into popular culture, I'm begininng to see more pictures like this which does not accurately reflect the culture and the people of the island. The majority of
Jamaicans do not smoke and certainly the majority do not ganja. Do you find this as insulting as I do?
Herb, ganja, marijuana, bong whatever you want to call it is part of the Jamaican customs along with Rastafarianism. I do not find it insulting.
ReplyDeleteIn response to the above post, I would have to say that I find this portrayal of Jamaica insulting because it's such a negative view of Jamaica and Jamaicans.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many more postive things that could be said about Jamaica rather saying it is the island of ganja smoking people.
greetings i find this picture affensive because its just an ignorant babylonian image of a rasta, lots of rastas dont smoke so you can hardly call it rastafarian customs.
